The short course is under construction!!!!!!!!! SHORT COURSE TO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS RESOURCES This short course is designed to educate an individual unfamiliar with the Southern Plains region about the natural resources in this area, focusing on the western half of Oklahoma. Within the course you will find a description of the mixed grass prairie, a map of the major land resource areas complete with descriptions of these areas, and descriptions of the predominant range sites within the major land resource areas. The plant materials section contains information on introduced forages important to the southern plains region. The last section of the course contains information on the management of the resources in the southern plains region. Upon finishing the course you will have a better understanding of the soils, forages and resource management common to this area. As you proceed with the course you will have a choice at each screen of continuing with the course or quitting. Some of the topics may be links with other websites. If you leave Southern Plains Range Research website and wish to return to the point where you left to continue the course, simply click on the back button until you return to the point where you left the course.
